2008 is Randy's 25th year in the Winchester/Front Royal radio market. Randy joined the Royal Broadcasting team in 2000 after a 16-year stint at Q102, where his duties included Program Director, midday announcer, and sports play-by-play. Randy assumed the Morning Host duties at WZRV in February 2000, and with his "Wake-Up-Crew", plays Your Greatest Hits Monday through Friday 5-9 am. Randy is also the play-by-play voice of Shenandoah University football (and sometimes basketball).

Randy is a proud Mountaineer, having grown up in W.Va., where he graduated from Martinsburg High in 1977. Randy attended college at both Alderson-Broaddus and Shepherd. Randy's early radio gigs included WRNR in Martinsburg, WKKW in Clarksburg W.Va., and WYII in Williamsport, Md.

Randy 's interests include running, movies (no, he hasn't seen every movie ever made), and following his West Virginia Mountaineers and Washington Redskins. Randy lives in the mountains of Western Frederick County with his wife Jennifer (Jenny Lynn of local radio fame), son Christopher, and numerous dogs, cats, and birds.
