A Martinsburg, WV man was found guilty Friday of murdering his wife by beating her to death with a hammer.

A Berkeley County convicted Rickie Greenfield, Jr. of first-degree murder. Greenfield confessed to killing his wife in 2013. Several witnesses took the stand over the final two days of the trial, including the estranged couples significant others.

  • C-CAP helps about 11% of the population of Front Royal/Warren County.

 

  • 71 agencies, such as C-CAP, food pantries, soup kitchens etc. distribute to the hungry in the Shenandoah Valley.

 

  • About 1100 families--around 4500 people--are helped by C-CAP of Front Royal/Warren County.

 

  • The Camping for Hunger 2014 campaign collected over 23,00 pounds of food that will feed residents of Front Royal and Warren County through the cold winter months and into early spring.

 

  • Listeners donated over $4,000 that C-CAP will use for emergency aid towards such client needs as fuel and utility bill assistance.
